Product
Avalanche Medical is developing a non-degradable polymer focal knee resurfacing implant for the treatment of knee (osteo)chondral defects. We call this the SyCap implant, an acronym for “Synthethic Cartilage Plug.” The product is still in the developmental phase and not yet available to patients.
Our Origin and Ambition
Avalanche Medical is a spin-off company from the Chemelot InSciTe public-private collaboration project SyCap and has been founded in 2021. We are currently seeking investors to continue the development of the SyCap implant and to subsequently initiate clinical trials.
